Photos of Faerie Glen, Isle of Skye

Desire to Worship by Ian Cylkowski

Beneath the striking rock pinnacle of Castle Ewen in the Fairy Glen, you can find this very neat stone circle. Curiously, this stone circle is a relatively modern addition to this magical landscape, and I find it interesting when I find little circles and cairns like these in landscapes. An activity as old as humanity itself. =) goo.gl/7j1TCQ Fairy Glen, Glen Uig, Uig, Trotternish Peninsula, Isle of Skye, Hebrides, Highlands, Scotland. ISO100, ƒ/9.0, 69secs at 12mm (18mm full-frame equiv.) using a circular polariser, a soft 3-stop ND grad, and a 10-stop full-ND filter stacked on my Tokina 11–16mm ƒ/2.8 lens attached to a Nikon D7000. This is a single exposure, processed and edited in Capture One, finished off in Photoshop.
